There was a Burger Lift sighting at Raoul’s in New York City! Raoul’s burger is Esquire Magazine’s “Best Burger in America.” With a sweet LaFrieda beef made mostly from brisket, triple cream St. Andre cheese, wilted watercress, cornichons on a challah bun, this burger is off the charts. Throw in a stunning au poivre sauce of heavy cream and cognac to dip the burger and we agree that Esquire may have a good argument on their hands. Of course the burger would not be complete without the generous serving of shoestring fries cooked in duck fat. Be sure to get there early to snag one of only 12 of these burgers made each night.
